Introduction to IPR (Mentor Driven Program)

Duration - 8 Weeks

This course aims to encourage an individual to understand the techno-legal aspects of an innovation. The student will be exposed to various types of Intellectual Properties, their registration processes, related Laws and the rights of the owner of an IP. Interactive assignments will drive the student to apply this knowledge in real life cases. The course covers following contents: Introduction to Intellectual Properties, patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs and geographical indications.

• To understand Intellectual Properties and the rights conferred therewith
• To know commercial significance of IPs
• Understanding different Acts, provisions, Procedures of registration, infringement, etc for various IPs
